Hey I'm Tay, the homebody of all homebodies.

Somewhere between my Southern California Roots and PNW upbringing, I was formed into a super passionate creator and lover for adventure! Currently, I am a 30 year old mom to one rad kid, an Australian Shepherd named Mando and two kitty cats, JoJo and Miso. I've been married to the love of my life for 12 years & we love to geek out together on Star Wars, Marvel, LOTR, GOT and many more things. My family means everything to me. Without them, I am not me!

Before diving into my photography career, I spent the majority of 9 years being an advocate in my local birth work communities as a doula! I chose to channel a lot of my birth work in the underserved and underprivileged areas of the birth community. In fact, I felt so strongly about this area of work that I also became a Birth Becomes You certified birth photographer in 2021. While I have also earned multiple degrees, the majority of my education has focused on the racial & gender injustices that plague current perinatal healthcare systems world wide on both criminal and social levels. I am more than a photographer; I am a natural advocate for humans and the humankind experience.

At my core, I am a reflection of the nostalgic love that I was given by my Great Grandmother, Doris Mae. Doris was a passionate creator who loved Olives as snacks (also in her gin martinis) and her birth flower is the timeless September Aster. O&A is a tribute to the unconditional nostalgic love she gave me as a young girl. When I am not documenting love stories or filling my head with ungodly amounts of school text, you can find me in my kitchen cooking a meal from scratch, wandering around in the woods, making miniatures, listening to my favorite podcasts (Morbid and Armchair Expert) and music (does it surprise you to know I am a metal head?) or simply being present with my family.
